Short version
This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
Everything stays on your device. No servers. No tracking. No analytics.
What data is stored
The extension stores two small pieces of data locally on your device only:
totalBlocked — a number counting how many notification
permission requests have been blocked. Used only to display the counter in the popup.
whitelist — a list of website hostnames you have chosen
to allow notifications from. Stored in Chrome sync storage so it is available
across your own devices when signed into Chrome.
What data is NOT collected
No browsing history
No URLs or page content
No personal information of any kind
No usage analytics or crash reports
No data is ever sent to any external server
Permissions explained
The extension requests the following browser permissions:
storage — to save your blocked count and whitelist
locally on your device.
tabs — to read the current tab's hostname so the
popup can show you which site you are on and let you toggle it. No tab content
or history is accessed.
host permissions (all URLs) — required to inject
the blocking script into every website before the page loads. No data from
those pages is ever read or stored.
Third-party services
This extension does not use any third-party services, libraries, or APIs.
There are no ads, no analytics SDKs, and no external network requests of any kind.
Children's privacy
This extension does not collect any personal information from anyone,
including children under the age of 13.
