GPT Organizer is a Chrome extension that helps you manage your ChatGPT conversations. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the extension accesses and how it is handled.

Data We Collect

We collect no personal data. GPT Organizer does not collect, transmit, or share any information about you or your conversations with any external server or third party.

Local Storage Only

All data created by the extension — including labels, folder assignments, notes, and settings — is stored exclusively on your own device using the browser's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is never sent to our servers (we have none)
• Is never shared with third parties
• Can be deleted at any time by removing the extension

ChatGPT API Calls

When you use bulk delete, archive, or export features, the extension makes API requests directly to chatgpt.com on your behalf — using your existing browser session. These requests are identical to actions you would perform manually on the ChatGPT website. No data from these requests is intercepted or stored by us.

Permissions Used

• storage — to save your labels, folders, and notes locally on your device.
• scripting — to inject the extension interface into the ChatGPT page.
• host_permissions (chatgpt.com) — to interact with the ChatGPT interface and its API.

Third Parties

GPT Organizer does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with any third party for any purpose.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
